  • We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

This policy explains what information we collect through helpthefuturenow.com (the "Site"), by phone, text message, and email; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call, text, email, or book an appointment, you may give us: - Your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and the best time to reach you - The types of coverage you want to talk about (for example, Medicare Advantage, ACA health insurance, or life insurance) - Anything you type in a notes field - Whether you checked the box agreeing to calls and texts

Information we collect during an appointment. If you choose to work with us, we may collect information needed to compare plans and complete an application, such as your date of birth, address, household size and income (for ACA subsidy estimates), current coverage, doctors, pharmacies, prescriptions, Medicare number, and similar details. We collect only what is needed to help you, and we handle it as required by insurance and privacy laws and our carrier contracts.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform (Squarespace) and the tools described in Section 5 may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, the page you came from, approximate location (city/state level), and the date and time of your visit. We may also record the ad campaign or link that brought you to the Site (for example, "utm" tags in a link).

Consent records. When you submit a form, we keep a record of what you submitted, the date and time, and whether you checked the consent box. We keep this so we can show we had your permission to contact you.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to: - Respond to your request and contact you by phone, text, or email about the coverage topics you asked about - Schedule and hold appointments, compare plans, and help you apply or enroll - Send reminders about appointments, enrollment deadlines, and your yearly coverage review - Keep records required by law and by our contracts with insurance companies and our field marketing organization - Improve our Site and measure which ads and pages are working (see Section 5) - Protect against fraud, spam, and misuse of our Site - Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

Medicare conversations. Before a Medicare sales appointment, we will confirm which products you want to discuss (a "scope of appointment"), and we will only discuss those products. We will not discuss other types of insurance during a Medicare appointment.

3. Calls and text messages (SMS)

  • We will only call or text you using automated technology, or send prerecorded messages, if you gave us permission, for example by checking the optional consent box on our form. Checking the box is not a condition of buying anything. You can always call us at 760-997-8421 instead.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. You will get one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or call 805-702-7058.

  • You can also tell us to stop calling, texting, or emailing you in any reasonable way (for example, by saying so on a call or emailing us). We will honor your request promptly.

  • We call and text only between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in your local time, Monday through Saturday, unless you ask us to contact you at another time.

  • Full text messaging terms: https://helpthefuturenow.com/sms-terms

No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share phone numbers only with service providers that help us deliver text messages and calls (for example, our phone and texting platform), and only for that purpose.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or rent our lead lists. We share information only as described here:

  • Insurance companies and enrollment platforms. When you ask us to help you apply or enroll, we send your application information to the insurance company you choose, and, for ACA plans, to the Health Insurance Marketplace (HealthCare.gov or your state's exchange) through approved enrollment systems. We share only with your permission and only what is needed for that application.

  • Our field marketing organization (FMO) and compliance partners. We may share records (such as enrollment records and call recordings) with our FMO or carriers when required for contracting, compliance reviews, or audits.

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run our business, such as our website host (Squarespace), our CRM and phone/text platform, email provider, scheduling tool, call-recording and call-tracking tools, and secure document storage. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Advertising and analytics partners. Google and Meta receive limited website activity data through cookies and pixels (see Section 5). We do not send them your form answers, health information, or the coverage topics you selected.

  • Legal reasons. If required by law, subpoena, or regulator request (for example, a state Department of Insurance or CMS), or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

  • Business transfer. If our business or book of business is sold or transferred, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy. Where the law requires, we will tell you first.

We will never share your Medicare-related personal information with another insurance marketing organization or agent for marketing unless you first give written permission that names each company receiving it.
